Tots Blossom is owned and operated by Kimberley Gregg, a New York State Certified Early Childhood Educator, who understands the importance of providing children with developmentally appropriate activities, while tailoring programming to suit their individual needs and interests.
Kimberley graduated from McGill University as a psychology major in 2006. It was while pursuing this degree that she discovered her interest in child development and her desire to improve the lives of children through quality education. In 2008, Kimberley graduated from Touro College with a Master's Degree in the science of early childhood general and special education.
Since graduating Kimberley has become a certified teacher in New York State and has been working in the NYC Early Intervention Program providing Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children on the autistic spectrum, as well as, children with developmental delays. With close to 10 years experience working with children in general and special education settings, Kimberley has been trained in Applied Behavior Analysis, floor time and creating and conducting lessons in preschool, kindergarten and first grade classrooms. Her sessions in the Early Intervention Program have been video taped and used to train other teachers in practical applications of ABA therapy. She has also participated in training educators to make teaching materials to support lessons and motivate students.
Kimberley's varied and extensive experience has led her to the development of Tots Blossom. It is her hope that this daycare will be a model for quality daycare in the White Plains area and will improve the lives of children and families throughout the Westchester community.
